Integrated APCS of the boiler unit No. 5 of BKZ-220 type of CCHP (LLC “Yurginsky machine engineering plant”)

In 2007, the automation implementation of the boiler unit No. 5 of BKZ-220 type of CHPP (LLC “Yurginsky Machine Engineering Plant”) was performed by “Tornado Modular Systems” company. It corresponds to the normative documents, and was based mainly on the programmable tools and marginally on the local automation tools. The certain functions of measurement and remote control are performed with the help of the local automation tools (the reserve control system in the operational circuit of a group control desk, a part of measurement systems and control elements of the actuators located in place: shutting-down of the mechanisms, fuel oil supply to the injectors).

• To monitor a current state and control the technological equipment on the monitors installed in the operational circuit of the group control desk the following information is provided to operator:
• Symbolic circuits of different degrees of detail, which are the main control tool;
• Graphs of the current changes of the parameters, retrospective view of the parameters and values ​​of the calculated parameters;
• Record tables of the parameters to control a large quantity of parameters, which are grouped by the meaning; 
• Histograms as a convenient tool for comparison of the parameters of the same type; 
• Alarm to inform the operational staff about faults during technological processes, tripping of protections and interlocks, identified malfunctions in the APCS hardware.
