APCS of the turbo unit No. 4 of Jezkazgan CHPP
The APCS implementation is executed due to replacement of turbo unit No. 4 of R-25-8.8 / 2.9 type with turbo unit of T-50 / 60-8.8 type.
The APCS of turbo unit No. 4 is designed for process automation of electrical and thermal energy production in all operating modes and provides:
- Monitoring and automation control of the main and auxiliary technological equipment of the turbo unit;
- Technological protection of the turbo unit;
- Control of the main parameters of the electrical equipment.
3.1. The APCS of the turbo unit No. 4 includes the following technological equipment:

Turbine plant;

Generator of TSFP 63-2MUZ type.
3.2. The structure of the turbine plant includes the following components:
- T-50 / 60-8,8 / 0.12 steam turbine with heat extraction of steam (the main parameters and characteristics of the turbine are given in Table 3.1);
- Auxiliary equipment and pipelines;
- Heating unit with a horizontal delivery water heater.
3.3. Turbo generator of TSFP-63-2MUZ type is three-phased, synchronous, with air-cooling, general purpose (the main generator parameters are given in Table 3.2).
3.4. The automation object is located in the area with the following outside temperatures:
- Average maximum temperature of the hottest month: +29.8 °C;
- Average temperature of the coldest month: -15.2 °C.

3.5. The number of shutoff and control valves:
- gates, shutoff valves – 138;
- control valves – 22.
3.6. The number of auxiliary devices: 21, including:
- for 0.4 kV voltage – 20;
- for 220 V voltage – 1.
Total electric drives: 180.
3.6. Preliminary number of the input parametric DCS signals (without signals via shutoff & control valves and auxiliary devices):

- Analog parametric measurements: 181;
- Discrete parametric measurements: 86.
Total parametric signals: 455.
3.7. Local subsystems integrated into the APCS: electro-hydraulic system of automatic control, “Vibrobit-300” automated control system of vibration, relay protection & automatic equipment of “EKRA” generator.
