Management information system of the turbo units No. 5, 6 and the boiler units No. 6, 7 & 9 of Barnaul CHPP-2
“Modular Systems Tornado” company successfully implemented the management information system (MIS) of Barnaul CHPP-2. The goal of the MIS implementation is to increase the fail-safety level, to ensure the safety of equipment functioning and to maintain high-quality mode of electrical and thermal energy production.
The system is designed for automation of information functions, control functions, technological protections and interlocks of the boilers No. 6, 7 & 9 and turbines No. 5 & 6.
This is information system supplemented by control functions.
The MIS central part is the DCS1 “TORNADO-N” that includes programmable automation devices and other computer equipment.
