DCS design and assembly of the ash-pump station of Novosibirsk CHPP-5 are being performed

The hydraulic structure system of CHPP-5 consists of an ash disposal area, an ash and slag line of more than two kilometers long, a floating clarified water pumping station and the drainage pumping station.

Building and commissioning of the ash-pump station are planned to be completed by winter.

The plan has to consider not only the ash pump station automation, but also modernization of the existing equipment and shipment of the additional telecontrol equipment for transmitting telecontrol information about operation of the ash-pump station to the NCHPP-5 central control desk.

At present time, design of system is at the final stage and the DCS assembly has begun. All work is being carried out according to the plan, so the station will be launched in time.
